After spending thirty years as a painter and decorator in Bude, and spending many of those years cultivating his own small garden, Neil had the opportunity to garden on a larger scale after acquiring Bangors House in 2001 - and of course it had to be organic! Now with 17 years of organic farming experience gained in the gardens he created from scratch at Bangors Organic, Neil has become widely known as a strong advocate and local educator of organic principles. His five acres, irrigated solely by a 60 metre bore-hole, source seasonal produce for Bangors Organic Veg Boxes as well as the B&B and restaurant. His enthusiasm and dedication is infectious and many of the visitors to Bangors enjoy a tour around the garden to learn a little about the sustainable and ecological footprint that Bangors Organic enjoys in North Cornwall.
